I have a dear friend who takes amazing pictures.  I’ve even shared her YouTube slide show from a mission trip to Nicaragua here.  I asked her a while back to take a few pictures of me and my children for a Father’s Day surprise for Trey.  They turned out wonderfully.  I can’t wait to pick out a few of them and put them on canvas and hang them all over the house.

What can I say?  Trey and I have beautiful children :) .

A group from our church went to Nicaragua over spring break and one of my friends was a part of the group.  This is a video of a few of her pictures.  She’s an amazingly gifted woman (and she told me she took something like 1600 pictures).

Wordless Wednesday

Did you even know they made special limited edition hard back catalogs with tabs?  We didn’t.

Wordless Wednesday – on Thursday

I finally got around to actually getting the letters on the wall.  We had the sheet of lettering paper taped to the wall for almost a year.  ’Cuz that’s how I roll.

Wordless Wednesday

So, I’m adding a few words to this “Wordless Wednesday” because this requires a brief back-story.  Trey recently bought a new vehicle.  Last week he received an invitation to an open house at the dealer in case he had any questions/concerns about his new truck.

Please note, this invite passed through a copywriter, editor and publisher/printing company.

feeders

Little Man’s preschool went on a nature walk last week and he brought home a dozen or more pine cones.  Monkey thought we could make bird feeders with them using peanut butter and seeds.  We decided to make six or seven of them yesterday and hang them out for the birds.

However, we should have called them squirrel feeders.
